Gravel Travel 2010
2010-07-27Wilde Fruit Juice is one of the proud sponsors of the Gravel Travel Mountain Biking event, taking place on the 28th of August 2010. Team Wilde will also be competing in this race that covers the farm roads and jeep tracks between Diemersfontein Wine Estate - through the luscious vineyards and farmlands of Wellington, passing many award winning cellars - and the Groenberg Mountain.
Riders can choose between the 65 km, 30 km and 5 km routes.
The Gravel Travel race consists of a fast route, filled with great scenery, fynbos and historic farmsteads while the riders' technicality will be tested with numerous ups, downs and river crossings. The race is open for novice to professional riders, so grab your bike and pedal over to Diemersfontein Wine Estate on the 28th of August 2010.
Hurry, the race is limited to 1200 participants only. Pre-entries close on the 25th of August 2010.
